1. Who we are
This website is operated by Back in Control Solutions Ltd, trading as Your Financial Support, a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number 12736546). Registered office: 62 Seymour Grove, Manchester, M16 0LN. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under number ZB675712 and are the data controller for the personal data you provide to us.
We are a lead generation and introducer service. We do not provide regulated debt advice. We refer individuals to debt advice providers authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and to licensed Insolvency Practitioners.
2. What information we collect
- Your name, telephone number and email address
- Your answers to our eligibility questions (approximate debt level, number of creditors, residential and employment status, nation of residence)
- Any further information you choose to tell us when we call you
- Technical data such as IP address, device type and pages visited (see our Cookie Policy)
- The source of your enquiry (for example which advert or search brought you to us)
3. How we use your information and our lawful basis
- To contact you about your enquiry by phone, SMS, WhatsApp or email – on the basis of your consent, given when you submit the form
- To refer you to a regulated partner so they can assess your circumstances – on the basis of your consent
- To operate, measure and improve our service – on the basis of our legitimate interests
- To keep records and comply with legal obligations – on the basis of legal obligation and legitimate interests
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for automated decision-making that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
4. Who we share your data with
We share your details with one regulated debt advice provider or licensed Insolvency Practitioner for the purpose of your enquiry. They become an independent controller of your data and will provide you with their own privacy information. We may also share data with our IT, telephony, CRM and messaging suppliers acting as processors under contract, and with regulators or law enforcement where required by law. We do not share your data with marketing companies or other unrelated third parties.
5. Marketing
We will only contact you about your own enquiry and related debt help services. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying STOP to a text, telling us on a call, or emailing customerservice@yourfinancialsupport.co.uk.
6. Data retention
We keep enquiry data for 12 months from your last contact with us, unless a longer period is required to deal with a complaint or legal obligation, after which it is securely deleted. If you ask us not to contact you, we keep the minimum information needed to honour that request.
7. Security
Your data is stored on access-controlled, encrypted systems. Access is limited to staff who need it to handle your enquiry.
8. International transfers
Some of our suppliers may process data outside the UK. Where this happens we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
9. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time.
